Memorandum to Admininstrative Points of Contact

The purpose of this memorandum is to inform you of recent changes to the regulations concerning open meetings. The Office of Open Government (OOG) amended its regulations concerning open meetings, at 3 DCMR § 104000, effective May 31, 2019. Public bodies are required to abide by these new regulations immediately. Attached to this memorandum is a full copy of the rulemaking. The summary of the rulemaking below lists the significant changes to the existing rules and recommends best practices.
