CANCELLED- Opioid Fatality Review Board

In response to COVID-19, the Council of the District of Columbia passed the COVID-19 Response Emergency Amendment Act of 2020 suspending all board and commission meetings during the time of a public health emergency, unless otherwise deemed urgent or as directed by the Mayor. As such, the scheduled April 14, 2020 Opioid Fatality Review Board Meeting has been cancelled. 

Opioid Fatality Review Board (OFRB) meetings are closed to the public when discussing cases of opioid related deaths pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 2-575(b)(1) and Mayor’s Order 2019-024 (XIII).  It is for this reason detailed meeting minutes and recordings are not attached or made public. However, detailed meeting minutes and recordings of the public portion of the meeting will be provided in accordance with the Open Meetings Act. The Board welcomes public comments and questions and reserves time at the start of each meeting for public engagement.
