Washington, D.C. Regional Planning Commission on Health and HIV - COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING
The Washington, D.C. Regional Planning Commission on Health and HIV (COHAH) Monthly General Body Meeting. The COHAH serves as the new regional planning body for HIV prevention and care services in the Washington, D.C. Eligible Metropolitan Area (EMA). The Washington, D.C. EMA spans the District of Columbia, five counties in suburban Maryland, eleven counties and six independent cities in Northern Virginia, and two counties in West Virginia. The Commission has the responsibility to prioritize a range of medical and support services totaling over $30 million in federal and other funds.
Comprehensive Planning Committee Duties: Lead efforts for the prioritization, allocation and monitoring of HIV programmatic funds from federal and local sources. This committee shall also lead the Priority Setting and Resource Allocation (PSRA) process.
