Dismissal of Complaint regarding the Council of the District of Columbia

The Director of Open Government, through Chief Counsel Johnnie Barton, dismissed an Open Meetings Act (OMA) complaint regarding a meeting of a D.C. Council Committee. The meeting that was the subject of the complaint did not consist of a quorum of D.C. Council members and was a committee meeting, which is not covered by the OMA.
